NEC Electronics America and Synplicity Host Seminars About Structured ASICs and Amplify ISSP Software
Discover ISSP Structured ASICs: Your Turnaround Time Advantage from 150 to 90nm
SANTA CLARA, Calif. and SUNNYVALE, Calif., May 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- NEC Electronics America, Inc., a leading provider of differentiated semiconductor solutions, and Synplicity Inc. , a leading supplier of software for the design and verification of semiconductors, today announced they will be hosting joint seminars in select cities nationwide to provide insight into structured ASICs, a rapidly growing alternative to cell-based ASICs and FPGAs for designers working with low- to mid-volume applications. The "Discover ISSP Structured ASICs: Your Turnaround Time Advantage from 150 to 90nm" seminar will highlight NEC Electronics' structured ASIC architecture, Instant Silicon Solution Platform(TM) (ISSP(TM)), and Synplicity's customized Amplify(R) ISSP tool. The two companies will demonstrate how the ISSP architecture, combined with an ISSP-customized synthesis tool like Amplify ISSP, enables designers to reduce design risk, NRE costs and time to market. Seminars include presentations about the ISSP architecture and Amplify ISSP tool, followed by a cocktail reception with live demonstrations of the Amplify ISSP software.
